About the club
Borough Green Junior Football Club provides football for around 140 local boys and girls, running 10 teams from Under 7s to Under 13s. The Club places a strong emphasis on youth development and it believes that youngsters are provided with the opportunity to develop their skills as they progress through the various age groups. The Club runs teams in the follwing leagues:
- Invicta Primary League for Under 's, 9s and 10s
- Crowborough and District Junior Football League for Under 11s
- Express Cabs Maidstone Boys Primary League for Under 12s & Under 13s
Each team has at least one FA qualified manager / coach. The Club was originally formed in 1993 with just one team and further teams have been added each year thereafter since its inception. In 2004 the Club adopted a common strip of Green shirts, Black shorts, Green socks and matching Black jackets as part of its vision of establishing and re-inforcing a common Club identity. This achievement was realised through the generosity of the Clubs sponsors. The Club achieved F.A. Standard Charter status in 2006 and has already established the necessary policies, procedures and practices to facilitate this goal.
The Club has recently contributed to the contruction of an all-weather training facility, which would will be used by our teams and the local community at large.
